The Adventures of Strolling Uncle Sam!
You know Uncle Sam as the Hometown Hero of Troy, New York, but did you know he has represented the Troy Victorian Stroll for over 30 years? Yes, that's Uncle Sam on the Stroll posters in his finest Victorian garb!

 To celebrate the Stroll's 30th anniversary, Uncle Sam has transformed into a magical holiday nutcracker and offered to arrive a little earlier than usual and help us spread Victorian Stroll cheer throughout Tech Valley for the remainder of 2012.

Follow Uncle Sam on the Chamber's Facebook page as he embarks on the countdown to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this beloved event by taking himself on a whirlwind adventure across the Capital Region. He is the finest ambassador to the Troy Victorian Stroll, the area's biggest holiday tradition.

Armed with only a nugget of Stroll fun and holiday cheer as his compass, follow the Chamber's Facebook page to watch Uncle Sam explore the region's tourist attraction, visit with Stroll sponsors and participants, meet with local officials and help Chamber staff keep the plans in progress for the Northeast's largest free holiday festival.

While he's full of vast knowledge about the City and Stroll, Uncle Sam lacks a keen sense of direction, and his trouble is - he sometimes gets a little lost! (Things around here have changed a bit since the 19th Century!)

When he's out of sorts and needs assistance, please help us identify who and what he's visiting with during his pre-Stroll adventures. He will post photos and updates of all his adventures on the Chamber's Facebook page. If you know where he is even when he doesn't, please post the location on our page to let us know!
