FROM THE SOUTH:Take I-87 (NYS Thruway) north to exit 23; take I-787 north to Troy / Green Island exit; turn right at end of ramp; turn right and cross over Green Island Bridge into Troy; parking to left or right. FROM THE NORTH:Take I-87 (Northway) south to exit 7; NYS Route 7 east into Troy, cross over Collar City Bridge. Approaching the Troy side of the bridge, turn right on ramp for "Downtown Troy" onto Sixth Avenue. Follow Sixth Avenue (past four traffic lights) until Sixth Avenue meets Congress Street only permitting a right turn. Turn right onto Congress Street and follow signs to parking. FROM THE WEST:Take I-90 (NYS Thruway) east to exit 24; I-87 (Northway) north to exit 7; follow NYS Route 7 east into Troy, over Collar City Bridge. Approaching the Troy side of the bridge, turn right on ramp for "Downtown Troy" onto Sixth Avenue. Follow Sixth Avenue (past four traffic lights) until Sixth Avenue meets Congress Street only permitting a right turn. Turn right onto Congress Street and follow signs to parking. FROM THE EAST:(Vermont via NYS Route 7) Follow NYS Route 7 into Troy. As you enter Troy from Brunswick traveling west on Route 7. Route 7 turns into Hoosick Street just past Walmart. Continue west on Hoosick Street. As Hoosick Street continues down the hill it connects with the Collar City Bridge (aka: Hoosick Street Bridge) and Interstate 787. Do not get on the bridge. Get in geft lane and follow signs for Hoosick Street, traveling under the bridge structure. At first light under the bridge structure, turn left onto Sixth Avenue. Follow Sixth Avenue (past four traffic lights) until Sixth Avenue meets Congress Street only permitting a right turn. Turn right onto Congress Street and follow signs to parking. All Parking is FREE! Parking is FREE in all City Lots, in the Troy Atrium Garage, and on all city streets. Restrooms are available at Troy City Hall, RiverSpark Visitors Center, and Victorious Life Christian Church. Information tables are located at the Chamber Offices, Troy Atrium, and Troy City Hall. |
