Discover how they work and then use common items such as PVC and mirror board to create a kaleidoscope for you to take home. For ages 6+. Pre-registration is required. 52nd Annual Holiday Greens Show - "Making Spirits Bright"

Twelve rooms of the 1827 Hart-Cluett House are decorated by the Van Rensselaer Garden Club using fresh trees, greens and flowers. This year a special demonstration and sale of holiday arrangements by the Van Rensselaer Garden Club will take place today from 2pm to 4pm. Greens Show Admission: Adults $5, $4 Seniors and Children, Children under 5 free. Free family night activities, 5pm - 8pm. Children's crafts. Stories will be read under the big tree in the Front Parlor, and photos with Santa will be available in the Toy Room for $10. Contact 272-7232 ext 15 for more information.

New York State Theatre Institute

December 7-9, 14&16 and 18-19 Weekdays-10am, Friday & Saturday-8pm, Sunday-2pm. “Sleeping Beauty” performed by the NYS Theatre Institute. "Sleeping Beauty" is a pleasure of story, music, and dance. A much-loved and visually exciting production, it is inspired by Kabuki and Noh theatre. While it tells a classic tale, it offers its own final suprise. This world-renowned production has toured France, Jordan, the Kennedy Center, and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Production fruns approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
